Endowments sold by Independent Advisers- no longer trading.
Millions of people were missold endowments when looking to simply repay their mortgage loans. Salespeople were armed with bogus sales pitches about how endowments would repay the mortgage and also provide a nice lump sum. There was hardly ever any warning about risks or even a mention of the stockmarket and many people were never even given a choice. There are now millions of people with massive shortfalls who have struggled to find ways of repaying their mortgage.
